One of the most famous reality shows in India is Bigg Boss. The show is an Indian version of the Dutch show Big Brother. It is broadcasted on Colors TV and the producer of the show is EndemolShine India. The show started in 2006 and this year, the 12th season of the show will be aired. Every season, this show has created new TRP records. Other than Hindi, this show is been made in six other languages Bengali, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Marathi. The contestants live in an isolated house and perform tasks. The winner is chosen on the basis of public voting. Here is the Bigg Boss winner list of all seasons 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12, 13, and 14.
1. Bigg Boss Winner Season 1 (2007): Rahul Roy
- Date: 3 November 2006 to 26 January 2007
- Prize Money: 1 Crore
- Runner Up: Carol Gracias
Indian film actor Rahul Roy was the winner of the first edition. The actor began his career with the blockbuster movie Aashiqui in 1990. Other than that, he also worked with Karishma Kapoor in Sapne Sajan Ke. He is also a lifetime member of the International Film and Television Club of the Asian Academy of Film & Television.
2. Bigg Boss Winner Season 2 (2008): Ashutosh Kaushik
- Date: 17 August 2008 to 22 November 2008
- Prize Money: 1 Crore
- Runner Up: Raja Chaudhary
Model and actor Ashutosh Kaushik won the second season of the show. He also won the 5th season of MTV Roadies in 2007. He worked in a few films too. His roles in Zila Ghaziabad and Kismat Love Paisa Dilli get much appreciation.
3. Bigg Boss Winner Season 3 (2009): Vindu Dara Singh
- Date: 04 October 2009 to 26 December 2009
- Prize Money: 1 Crore
- Runner Up: Pravesh Rana
Renowned actor Vindu Dara Singh won this edition of the show. The actor’s debut in the Bollywood movie Karan in 1994. Son of famous wrestler and actor Dara Singh, he acted in a Punjabi film directed by his father, Rab Dian Rakhan. He mostly does support roles in movies today.
4. Bigg Boss Winner Season 4 (2011): Shweta Tiwari
- Date: 03 October 2010 to 08 January 2011
- Prize Money: 1 Crore
- Runner Up: The Great Khali
The first woman to win the show, Shweta Tiwari is a film and television actress. She participated in the dancing reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa in 2013. Some of her popular shows on television are Parvarish and Begusarai.
5. Bigg Boss Winner Season 5 (2012): Juhi Parmar
- Date: 02 October 2011 to 07 January 2012
- Prize Money: 1 Crore
- Runner Up: Mahek Chahal
This year famous TV anchor, actress, dancer, and singer Juhi Parmar was the winner. She is the wife of another renowned TV personality Sachin Shroff. She has a daughter named Samaira.
6. Bigg Boss Winner Season 6 (2013): Urvashi Dholakia
- Date: 07 October 2012 to 12 January 2013
- Prize Money: 50 Lakh
- Runner Up: Imam Siddique
The actress is known for her role in the TV serial Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She has done some TV commercials too. Some of her popular shows are Dekh Bhai Dekh, Waqt Ki Raftar, Ghar Ek Mandir, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Kahiin To Hoga, and Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii.
7. Bigg Boss Winner Season 7 (2013): Gauhar Khan
- Date: 15 September 2013 to 28 December 2013
- Prize Money: 50 Lakh
- Runner Up: Tanishaa Mukerji
This is back to back 4th time a woman won the show. The actress has been seen in a lot of films like Game, Ishaqzaade, and Fever. She has also featured in some item songs in Bollywood films.
